-When it comes to mouth cleaning, the first thing that comes to mind is brushing teeth. Brushing teeth is the first step to a caries-free, bleeding-free, infection-free and germ-free mouth. People need to somehow remove the food residues left in their mouths after eating. Because food residues left in the mouth create a potential shelter for microbes. A large amount of cavities may occur in the mouth due to increased microbes.

– Brushing teeth is the first step, but how should we brush our teeth? A lot has been said about this subject. It is best to brush with a non-soft, medium-hard brush and fluoride toothpaste, from the gums to the teeth, with gentle circular and sweeping movements without pressing too hard. But in the new world where today’s fast-paced hustle and bustle abound, no one can spare that much time for brushing teeth. Although we give people their rights on this issue, we still need to state that it is not very accurate. Even if time cannot be spared for brushing teeth, at least one should try to remove food residues in the mouth.

-If circular movements or brushing from the gum to the tooth cannot be performed, briefly the food residues can be removed with a brush. If it is not possible to brush the teeth, the mouth can be rinsed with water / mouthwash, and then the food residues on the surfaces of the teeth can be removed with a clean tissue.

– If everything is very good, brushing should be 30 seconds for half of each jaw, that is, all teeth should be brushed for 2 minutes. During the brushing process, the clock and the stopwatch should be turned on and the time should be checked. Before one jaw is finished, it should not be moved to the other jaw. Toothpaste should be used taking into account the directions of the manufacturer. It should be noted that applying too much paste does not do any extra work. After the toothpaste is applied to the brush, the paste should not be re-wetted with water. Because the paste moistened with water will foam too much and immediately create a desire to spit, and the teeth will not be brushed adequately.

– Toothpastes with whitening content should be used continuously for a maximum of one week. Then normal toothpastes should be used.

-Tooth brushing should be done before breakfast or half an hour after breakfast. Before going to bed, teeth should be brushed at least 30 minutes after dinner. Teeth should not be brushed immediately after eating. Mouthwash should not be used immediately after tooth brushing, and should be waited for at least half an hour.
